GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - There's a new sports drink on the market here in the Twin Cities aimed at offering athletes a "healthy" alternative to other sports drinks out there right now.
It's the result of work by two local dads, who also happen to be youth sports coaches.
Jesse Parker and John Montague visited KARE 11 Sunrise to talk about their new venture, ASPIRE Beverage Company.
Currently, the ASPIRE sports drinks are being sold at all Lunds, Byerly's and Kowalski's stores throughout the Twin Cities.
"Meet the Maker" of ASPIRE events with free samples and giveaways that have been scheduled at local grocery stores.
