ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Two men are facing criminal charges after an out-of-control bar fightin St.Cloud that led to a number of people being injured.
St. Cloud Police say 22-year-old Ricky Thomas Cobb II of Brooklyn Park and 30-year-old Ashley Sahvon HammondofSt. Cloud were arrested early Sunday morning after an altercation involving dozens of people that occured inside the Press Bar.
Officers weredispatched around 1 a.m.after reports of a large fight involving up to 30 peopleon the second floor of the Press Bar.Witnesses told police thatpeople were throwing glasses, beer bottles and tables. Police say Cobb II cut a Press Bar employee on the arm with a beer bottle as he was trying to break up the fight.
Cobb II is facing charges of second degree assault and disorderly conduct, and is currently being held at the Stearns County Jail. Hammond was arrested for obstructing legal process and was taken to the Stearns County Jail.
The employee who was cut on the arm received stitches to close his injury. Othersinvolved in the brawl received minor injuries, including one person who sustained a possible broken nose. Police saymost of those involved refused to cooperate with police.
