ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Two people are off to a great start in 2024, having joined the millionaires club with lottery tickets purchased in Minnesota.
The Minnesota Lottery says two Minnesota Millionaire Raffle tickets - one purchased in Delano and one in Dundas - were big winners. The Delano ticket was purchased at Coborn's, 1400 Babcock Blvd. E, while the Dundas ticket came from the Kwik Trip at 415 Hester St. E. Each business will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.
Lottery officials say a total of 800,000 Minnesota Millionaire Raffle tickets went on sale Oct. 24, 2023, and were completely sold out in a record 22 days.
Along with the two million-dollar winners were five people who claimed $100,000, five who will take home $50,000, and an additional five $25,000 winners.
The Minnesota Lottery says since 1990, ticket sales have generated more than $3.8 billion for programs that impact the lives of Minnesotans, including environmental and natural resources, education and public safety, among others.
