ST. PAUL, Minn. - Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire overnight in St. Paul, according to authorities.

Crews responded to the scene just after midnight, to a home near Congress and Stryker in St. Paul's Riverview neighborhood.

Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke pouring out of the home.

St. Paul fire officials say they were able to quickly extinguish the fire, which they believe started in the kitchen.

That's where the most significant damage was found -- the rest of the home had mostly smoke damage.

Everyone inside the home was able to make it out safely but two people were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation.

There's no word yet on the cost of the damage or the cause of the fire.
