TOWN OF ARCADIA, Wis. - Sheriff's officials have confirmed that three people died in a crash between a minivan and an SUV in Trempealeau County Monday morning.
According to WEAU, the crash happened on State Highway 95 at Sorlie Road around 7:40 a.m. Trempealeau County Sheriff Richard Anderson told WEAU the minivan was headed west on Hwy. 96 and the SUV was going east. Anderson described the crash as "slightly head-on."
A stretch of Hwy. 95 was closed in both directions between Blair and Arcadia while authorities reconstructed and cleared the scene.
Arcadia is about 30 miles northeast of Winona, Minn.
