4 locations for yard sign recycling in Hennepin County

MINNEAPOLIS — Residents of Hennepin County have several locations to recycle their campaign or yard signs.

The signs will be turned into pellets and recycled into new material, according to a news release. Residents are urged to check with the political campaign before recycling to see if they are collecting signs for reuse.

Officials listed the location for residents to drop off the sign from Nov. 12 to 26.

Bloomington

  • South Hennepin Recycling and Problem Waste Drop-Off Center, 1400 W. 96th Street
  • Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday
  • Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill, is required

Brooklyn Park

  • Hennepin County Recycling Center and Transfer Station, 8100 Jefferson Highway
  • Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday
  • Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill, is required

Minneapolis

  • Minneapolis North Transfer Station, 2710 Pacific Street N.
  • Hours: Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Collection container will be outside the gate

Minnetonka/Hopkins

  • Minnetonka/Hopkins Recycling Center, 11522 Minnetonka Blvd.
  • Hours: Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
