SHAKOPEE, Minn. — The Scott County Sheriff's Office says a 65-year-old man walked away from a plane crash near Shakopee unscathed after his single propeller plane crashed and became entangled upside-down in power lines around 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
The crash occurred near the 2500 block of 150th St. W in Louisville Township.
Authorities say the pilot was rescued after they were able to de-energize the lines, and the pilot himself suffered no injuries as a result of the crash.
“This incident could have been much worse,” said Sheriff Luke Hennen. “We are grateful the pilot was able to walk away without any injuries.”
