HOWARD LAKE, Minn. — A woman died Wednesday when they were struck by a vehicle in downtown Howard Lake.
It happened just before 3 p.m. on Highway 12. The woman was crossing the highway at 11th Avenue when she was struck by a 2013 Nissan Van, according to Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities did not release the woman's name Wednesday, but she is described as an 85-year-old from Howard Lake. The driver of the van was identified as a 46-year-old man.
