RICHFIELD, Minn. — A crowd held a candlelight vigil that turned into a protest Sunday following a fatal officer-involved shooting earlier this weekend.
A police pursuit in Edina ended with a man killed in an officer-involved shooting in Richfield late Saturday night, after officers say he confronted them with a knife.
The vigil was held at 951 E 77th Street in Richfield but proceeded to turn into a march that went into Interstate 494, and temporarily shut down the westbound lane.
