ST. PAUL -- Imagine a night at the museum, no it won't be like the 2006 movie with Ben Stiller. This one will be safer and entertaining. The Science Museum is inviting adults, 21 and older to come by next week Friday October 28 to spend the night in the museum.
"Enjoy music, food, and a cash bar, as well as a bunch of really fun activities geared towards adults. DIY, make and Take, science theater presentations. It's going to be a really cool and fun night." said Kim Ramsden, Science Museum of Minnesota.
The Science Museum is not new to having adult only events, they have had social science days in the past, but this will be their first overnight event, just don't forget your sleeping bag.
"We have a three story tall astronaut, so some people will be sleeping by the astronaut. Other people will be in other areas of the museum." said Kim Ramsden.
Participants will be provided meals, access to the new exhibits, and also get a chance to watch a late night Omnitheater film show. Tickets are $89 for non-members and are on sale now.
In addition to the admission to the museum, guests are also said to receive (per the Science Museum Of Minnesota website):
- 2 meals and a snack
- 2 drink tickets and access to cash bar
- Access to the Mindbender Mansion exhibition
- Late night Omnitheater film show
- Make and take workshops
- Science Live demonstrations
