FOUND SAFE: BCA says abducted 3-year-old boy was located

RED LAKE, Minn — Officials say a 3-year-old boy who had been abducted Friday evening has been found safe.

An Amber Alert was issued after authorities say Ethan Stately was abducted around 6:30 p.m. in the Red Lake Tribal Area in northern Minnesota. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) later said the boy had been found safe, adding that a 36-year-old woman was taken into custody.
