PLYMOUTH, Minn. — Plymouth police and the Robbinsdale School District confirm they are investigating a fight captured on social media Wednesday, involving a student and staff member at Armstrong High School.
"A physical (altercation) between a student and staff member occurred today," principal Erick Norby said in a letter to families. "This incident was recorded by another student and posted to social media. Upon being notified, building administration, along with district officials, immediately began an investigation. Upon conclusion of the investigation, we will follow appropriate district policies."
The principal's letter also noted the video of the incident that spread on social media: "Please continue to speak with your student about making good choices and engaging in appropriate social media use. Thank you for continuing to support our efforts to ensure a safe and supportive school environment."
In a statement, Plymouth police said they are "conducting interviews and reviewing video of the incident."
There are no reports of any injuries or arrests at this time.
