DELANO, Minn. — Since National Adoption Day started it has helped 75,000 children in foster care find homes over the last 20 years.
According to the Adoption Network, there are 428,000 children waiting to be adopted in the United States right now.
Here in Minnesota, there are more than 900 children under state guardianship currently available for adoption.
But these are just, numbers, and numbers cannot tell the entire story.
Jen and Lindsay Moser know a more personal journey with adoption, as they have been trying to bring a child, or children, into their Delano home for a couple of years now. They have an adoption agency, and a facebook page, but so far, no luck.
Jana sat down with them to tell their story.
