ST PAUL, Minn. — A 14-year-old boy receiving care at Children's Minnesota in St. Paul walked away on his own Wednesday night, prompting a public appeal from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
According to a release from the BCA on Thursday, Haroon Aymen Misawi left the hospital around 10 p.m. while under the care of Ramsey County Child Protection. Authorities indicated he was last seen walking from the facility toward Walnut/West 7th Streets wearing a green polo, dark khaki shorts and brown sandals.
The BCA said Misawi is 5'11 and 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Authorities said Misawi, who lives with autism, is considered endangered and it's unclear where he might go as the result from "recent family issues."
If you've seen Misawi or have information about his whereabouts, you're urged to call 911 or the St. Paul Police Department at 651-291-1111.
