The Black Crowes pull out of Minnesota Yacht Club Festival last minute

Festival organizers posted that the cancellation was due to illness.

ST PAUL, Minn. — As festival-goers pack their sunscreen for the inaugural Minnesota Yacht Club Festival, rock fans will also have to brace for the news that The Black Crowes will not be performing Friday.

In a post on the festival's X account, organizers said Thursday night that the last-minute cancellation was because of illness in the band.

Nevertheless, the show will go on with Alanis Morissette headlining Friday night, preceded by The Head & The Heart, Gwen Stefani, local band Gully Boys and others. Saturday's festival attendees will see The Offspring, Gary Clark Jr. and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others.

The Minnesota Yacht Club Festival has not shared whether attendees will be eligible for any kind of partial refund.
