Fewer people saying they belong to a mosque, synagogue or church

A recent poll shows fewer than 50% of the people asked say they're members of place of worship.

MINNEAPOLIS — The number of Americans who say they are members of a church, synagogue or mosque has dropped below 50%, according to a poll from Gallup released this past spring.

It is the lowest number ever since Gallup started asking back in 1937.
