BURNSVILLE, Minn. — A person was "peacefully" taken into custody after an hours long standoff in Burnsville, according to a statement from the police department.
Burnsville police initially responded to scene on the 12600 block of Chowen Bend just before noon Saturday.
The police had asked people to avoid the area and were assisted by multiple agencies, according to a post on the department's X (formerly Twitter) account.
