As Thanksgiving concludes, it may feel like it's time to put on Christmas carols and start decorating.
But first, you need a tree. Here are some tree farms in the Twin Cities metro including prices, locations and additional seasonal details.
St. Paul
The Nativity Men's Club Christmas Tree Lot offers trees and raises funds for the children of Nativity Parish School and Early Learning Center. Check it out at 1900 Wellesley Ave. in St. Paul.
If you're looking for a tree farm with celebrity status, go no further than Happy Land Tree Farms. Last year, the business supplied the Christmas tree for Vice President Kamala Harris' official residence.
The main location is in Sandstone but they also sell fir trees from a lot at 928 W Seventh St. in St. Paul.
Suburbs
B&J Evergreen Christmas Tree Farms offers a variety of pre-cut trees at several locations - 8251 Flying Cloud Dr. in Eden Prairie; 6335 Portland Ave. in Richfield; and 3500 Louisiana Ave. S in St. Louis Park.
If you want to get into the lumberjack spirit and cut your own tree, the company has locations in Princeton and Clear Lake. Each location has free family attractions like Santa photos, a petting zoo and pony rides.
Krueger's Christmas Tree Farm offers both pre-cut and cut-your-own trees at 10920 43rd St. N in Lake Elmo. The farm has been running for 70 years.
Krueger's offers fir trees for about $15 a foot, which totals about $100 for a 7-foot tree. The shop also sells wreaths, tree stands, garlands and more.
The Rum River Tree Farm and Nursery offers locations across the Twin Cities metro and beyond, with lots in Blaine, Champlin, Maple Grove, Randolph, Minneapolis, Oak Grove, Otsego, Plymouth and White Bear Lake. On special weekends there will be free hayrides, petting zoo, visits with Santa and food trucks.
The Oak Grove location offers 280 acres of cut-your-own Christmas trees at 21050 Lake George Blvd NW. Fir trees are about $87 and the business also sells pine trees, spruce tips and wreaths.
