Our backyard has gathered a lot of snow this winter.
And it may not be over yet, but someday soon it will be spring. And the snow will begin to melt.
So to keep our spirits up, we're making a game of guessing when the last of the snow in our backyard will melt. The KARE 11 Weather Team - Belinda Jensen, Sven Sundgaard, Laura Betker and JD Disharoon - will act as the judges determining the official final snow melt day.
A grand prize winner will be chosen at random from all of the people who guess the correct date. That winner will receive a prize from By The Yard.
Entries are open Feb. 29 at 8 a.m. through March 15, 11 p.m. Enter online here or on the KARE 11 Facebook page under the "Contests/Sweepstakes" tab on the left. The winners will be chosen after May 3, or when the snowmelt is complete.
