Anoka County Sheriff's Office: Police investigating man's death in Coon Rapids

According to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, police located the man near the 11200 block of Crooked Lake Boulevard NW just before 7 a.m. Wednesday.

COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The Anoka County Sheriff's Office is investigating a man's death after he was found lying on the ground in Coon Rapids Wednesday morning.

According to the department, officers and EMS located the man on the street near the 11200 block of Crooked Lake Boulevard NW just before 7 a.m. on Dec. 14.

The sheriff's office said first responders attempted to save the 32-year-old's life before declaring him dead at the scene. A cause of death has not yet been determined.

Coon Rapids Police and the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office, along with the Anoka Country Sheriff's Office, are assisting with the investigation.
