MINNEAPOLIS -- Authorities are investigating a house fire that left one person dead Saturday night.
Around 8:45 p.m., firefighters responded to a possible structure fire on the 4900 block of Logan Avenue North. Upon their arrival, they found smoke showing from a home. They made entry into the structure and located and extinguished the fire.
During a search of the house, a victim was discovered. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Details about the victim are not available at this time. Victim information will be released by the Medical Examiner. KARE 11 will have that information when it becomes available.
