Minneapolis fatal fire investigation

MINNEAPOLIS -- Authorities are investigating a house fire that left one person dead Saturday night.

Around 8:45 p.m., firefighters responded to a possible structure fire on the 4900 block of Logan Avenue North. Upon their arrival, they found smoke showing from a home. They made entry into the structure and located and extinguished the fire.

During a search of the house, a victim was discovered. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
