MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police are investigating after a body was found in a vacant building in the Elliot Park neighborhood on Friday night.
Officials said in a press release that officers from the First Precinct found a dead body inside a vacant residential building in the 1500 block of Park Avenue just before 10:30 p.m.
Police have not given any identifying information about the man and said he died of a gunshot wound.
There have been no arrests as of Saturday and police said investigators are still trying to determine the circumstances around the man's death.
