1 killed in shooting on Metro Green Line

As of Saturday morning, police are still searching for suspects in a shooting that happened in the area around Dale Street and University Avenue in St. Paul.

ST PAUL, Minn. — Police are searching for suspects after a fatal shooting in St. Paul around 11 p.m. on Friday night. 

Metro Transit and St. Paul police went to the Green Line's eastbound Dale Street Station for a shots fired call on Friday, according to a press release. 

Officers found an adult male on the platform with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to Regions Hospital where they were pronounced dead. 

No other information about the victim has been released by authorities at this time. 

Police said they are still searching for suspects. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), is assisting the Metro Transit Police Department in its investigation.
