Free warming centers in the Twin Cities

As the weather gets colder, it is important to keep warm. Here are a few places you can go.

MINNEAPOLIS — As the winter weather starts to dip into the negatives, nothing is more important than keeping warm. 

If you're looking for free places to de-thaw, here are some located in the Twin Cities. 

St. Paul

The city has warming shelters open Nov. 15, 2023 to March 31, 2024 from 9 p.m. - 7 a.m., according to the city website

Minneapolis

Additionally, there is a new law for landlords in Minnesota. They must keep systems they control at a minimum of 68 degrees between October and April.
