SARTELL, Minn. – A community came together to help a young woman who faces several surgeries after spending the night out in below zero temperatures.
Alyssa Lommel was found with severe hypothermia last month.
Her road ahead includes skin grafts and the amputation of her fingers and toes.
Hundreds turned out at the Blue Line Sports and Grill in Sartell on Sunday to show their support.
During a silent auction at the event, someone paid eight thousand dollars for a round of golf. That money -- and everything else raised will help pay Lommel's medical bills.
