MINNEAPOLIS — The (Minneapolis) galaxy will no longer have pizza delivered by superheroes after a longtime favorite closed on Tuesday.
On its website and social media, Galactic Pizza announced Tuesday that it was closing immediately. The spot was known for its delivery service, where the pizzas would be transported by employees dressed as superheroes.
In the Facebook post, pizza enthusiasts lamented the loss of the restaurant. Commenters mentioned bringing first dates and kids to the dive and enjoying their orders alongside the experience.
If you made it inside the restaurant, the decor included full superhero suits like something you'd see in a movie.
