MINNEAPOLIS — If you weren't craving chicken fingers before, you will now.
Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is bringing Flavortown to Minneapolis and opening a new Chicken Guy! location inside the Mall of America.
Fieri's fifth Chicken Guy! location is expected to open early next year, and will serve "all-natural fresh chicken tenders" and 22 signature sauce options.
“'Go Big or Go Home’ has always been my motto and when it comes to bringin’ Chicken Guy! to Mall of America, I think it’s spot on,” said Guy Fieri. “The people of Minnesota know great food and I’ve been able to try a lot of it while visiting on DDD. But now, I’m stoked to add a lit bit of my own flavor with my real deal chicken tenders and sauces.”
Hungry yet? Customers can chose between grilled and fried chicken in sandwiches, on skewers, or in salad bowls with sauce options like Nashville Honey Hot, Peri Peri and Curry Mayonnaise.
If you're in the mood for a bigger meal, Chicken Guy! has side options like Chicken Guy Fries, Mac Daddy Mac 'n Cheese and fried pickles. And don't forget dessert! You can satisfy your sweet tooth with options from the dessert menu like the Triple Double Ice Cream Treat and Cinnamon Apple.
Chicken Guy! "hatches" in 2020 on Level 3 North at the Mall of America.
Chicken Guy! opened its flagship location back in 2018 at Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort. A second location opened in August 2019 at the Redskins' FedEx Field.
