Ham Lake lightning victim identified

HAM LAKE, Minn. - The woman who was struck by lightning at Lion's Park in Ham Lake has been identified as Christine Anne Kloeppner.

Kleoppner, 48, was struck by lightning when a storm came up quickly during a baseball game on Saturday afternoon.

Kleoppner was unresponsive as coaches and umpires tried to help. Paramedics took over CPR when they arrived and they were able to resuscitate her on their way to the hospital.

She is being cared for at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Family does not want her condition released at this time.
