MINNEAPOLIS — An 18-year-old was arrested and a 14-year-old was hurt after gunfire in downtown Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Police Dept., officers could hear the shots fired near their precinct. Officers found "evidence of gunfire" in a parking lot near 5th Street North and Hennepin Avenue.
Three blocks away, the 14-year-old boy was found with apparent non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said the 18-year-old was found and arrested in an alley behind the police precinct, adding a gun was also found.
