GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Half an hour just wasn't enough.
Beginning Monday, April 15, KARE 11 News at Noon was expanded to an hour, bringing viewers the latest headlines, community developments, encouraging news and engaging interviews.
Anchor and Community Relations Manger Alexis Rogers will be joined each day by Meteorologist Ben Dery and traffic anchor/reporter Cece Gaines.
Throughout the hour, viewers will enjoy a fresh take on the news of the day, catch the latest forecast for both the day and the remainder of the week, and learn about the many ways Minnesotans create and support community. Content will include feature stories and interview segments on health, education, the arts, helpful resources, local triumphs and community wellness.
"Building community connects us all. I am very proud of how this show will inform, create impact, celebrate culture, and generate encouragement," said Rogers.
