GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — KARE 11 was recognized with 21 regional Emmy Awards on Saturday, including overall news excellence.
The awards are given out every year at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Upper Midwest Regional Emmy Awards Gala.
This year's ceremony took place at Mystic Lake Casino. KARE received awards for news excellence, the Sunrise morning newscast, and for several individual stories. KARE journalists were also honored in categories like best editor, anchor, photographer and video journalist.
