EDINA, Minn. — The first ever Taste Fore The Tour: Tee Off Against Hunger will be held on Monday, July 1 at Interlachen Country Club in Edina.
Organizers say the event will serve as the ‘first course’ for the 3M Open, which runs July 4 – 5 at TPC Twin Cities In Blaine.
100% of the donations to Tee Off Against Hunger will benefit Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People or VEAP, a Twin Cities-based basic needs organization whose programs include access to healthy foods, social services, housing stability and supportive services.

The guest of honor for the first-ever Taste Fore The Tour will be six-time major champion and CBS golf analyst Sir Nick Faldo.
The evening’s meal will be prepared by a foursome of James Beard-recognized chefs led by TV host, chef, writer and teacher Andrew Zimmern.
The acclaimed chefs will include Gavin Kaysen and Diane Moua (Bellecour, Demi, Spoon & Stable); Thomas Boemer (Corner Table, In Bloom, Revival); and Jamie Malone (Eastside Restaurants, Grand Café).
Program hosts will include sportscaster for NBC Sports, Michele Tafoya, and former NFL players Matt Birk and Ben Leber.
The celebrity guest list features current players, legendary sports figures and popular personalities, including: Bobby Bell, Devan Dubnyk, Everson Griffen, Derek Falvey, P.J. Fleck, Kent Hrbek, Joe Mauer, Mike Max, Randall McDaniel, Paul Molitor, Lou Nanne, Mark Rosen, Kyle Rudolph, Laura Schara, Ron Schara, Rick Spielman, Carly Zucker and Jason Zucker.
Founder Wayne Kostroski says the Taste Fore the Tour was created with one purpose in mind; to raise awareness and dollars for hunger relief for local families in need by collaborating culinary talent along with professional athletes and sport. Find more information, here.
