Saint Paul Farmers’ Market kicks off new season in Lowertown on April 27

Vendors offer a huge variety of locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables.

PLYMOUTH, Minnesota — Love fresh fruits and veggies? The Saint Paul Farmers’ Market’s downtown outdoor market in Lowertown opens for the season on Saturday, April 27.

The popular market will be open weekends through Nov. 24. Hours are 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.

In addition to an abundance of fresh, local, seasonal produce, shoppers will find healthful dairy and meat products, eggs, baked goods, honey from local hives, small-batch packaged foods and beverages, plant-based apothecary goods, and an array of flowers and plants from Minnesota growers.

Throughout the season there will also be free educational and fun activities for children, as well as demonstrations on topics like food preservation and gardening.
