MINNEAPOLIS — Apparently, beer and blankets go hand in hand.
Two Minnesota companies are cozying up for a second straight year to help youth experiencing homelessness across America.
Southern Minnesota's Faribault Mill and Minneapolis-based Fulton Brewing launched Spread The Warmth campaign in November 2022.
Faribault Mill donates blankets when blankets are purchased to organizations serving youth experiencing homelessness across America. To date, Faribault's Spread The Warmth campaign has donated over 12,000 blankets nationwide.
Fulton Brewing has crafted a limited-edition Faribault Mill Spread The Warmth Chocolate Cherry Stout that will hit shelves throughout Fulton's distribution network starting Monday, Nov. 11.
Each four-pack of 16-ounce cans features a classic and collectible Faribault Mill Heritage blanket design on the label.
A portion of proceeds from every Fulton Chocolate Cherry Stout four-pack supports YouthLink serving homeless youth ages 16-24 in Minneapolis.
Join them for a special release party from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 at Fulton's taproom in the North Loop.
Faribault M CEO Ross Widmoyer and Fulton Brewing's VP of Marketing Holly Manthei, joined KARE 11 Saturday to discuss the campaign.
