GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Now that it's April, you may be starting to plan out your spring projects.
With the weather warming up, it's a good time for spring cleaning and basic maintenance checks at your home.
Lindsey Uselding and Kristen Meehan from HGTV's Renovation 911 joined KARE 11 Saturday with five things not to ignore and the tools you need to handle them.
- Change out your furnace filter regularly to extend the life of your furnace and breathe in cleaner air
- Clean you're A/C condenser every spring and fall
- Clean your dishwasher filter 3-4 times a year
- Ensure your gutters are clean so that spring rain can run through them
- Don't forget to turn your water valve back on to your outdoor water spigot
Remember to do these chores to avoid big problems that come with costly fixes.
