GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Love Pizza in Golden Valley is welcoming the new season with some new items on the menu. That includes a new winter special pizza called "The Grinch," featuring braised pork shoulder, cherry pepper pesto, marinated artichoke hearts, and escarole. There's also a new housemade cannoli on the menu.
Chef Matt Hoecker and co-owner Marc Ratner stopped by KARE 11 Saturday to demonstrate Love Pizza's new lunch exclusive, Norma's Italian Beef Sandwich. However, you won't find the recipe here-- it's a secret recipe from Hoecker's grandmother, "passed down through handwritten encryption," he said.
