'In the paint' with Minnesota Timberwolves chaplain

Matt Moberg is opening his first major art exhibition and he joined KARE 11 Saturday to discuss his paintings.

MINNEAPOLIS — What began as therapy for substance use disorder just two years ago, has become a beautiful display of talent for Matt Moberg. And when he's not painting pieces of art, he's the chaplain for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Moberg is opening his first major art exhibition and he joined KARE 11 Saturday to discuss his paintings.

His paintings are highly energetic and done very quickly, with thickly painted brushstrokes.

Moberg's reception and art exhibition is on Saturday, May 18 at Douglas Flanders & Associates, Fine Art Gallery & Consultants, at 50th and France in Edina. It's from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
