MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis Farmers Market has changed its days and hours.
The market will not be open seven days a week anymore but rather Wednesday through Sunday.
It will be open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Last year, the market was open from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.
Officials say the moves are adjustments to better-fit customers' shopping habits, but they still will be selling their popular products such as flowers, pork and fish.
There will be live entertainment every Sunday.
Throughout the season the market will hold live free cooking demonstrations with Chef Laura Bonicelli.
This year it has 135 vendors who rotate through 170 stalls.
The Minneapolis Farmers Market, located at 312 East Lyndale Ave North, is the largest open-air market in the upper Midwest.
