GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — The 96th Academy Awards are scheduled for Sunday night and while it's an honor to be nominated only a few get to take home those gold Oscar statues.

- Best actor – pick and likely winner: Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer)
- Best actress – pick: Emma Stone (Poor Things) likely winner: Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon).
- Best director – pick: Yorgos Lanthimos (Poor Things) likely winner: Chris Nolan (Oppenheimer)
- Best picture – pick: Poor Things likely winner: Oppenheimer
