Children's book helps children process grief

Kristy Boike joined KARE 11 Saturday to discuss her book Rise Up Little Bluebirds.

MINNEAPOLIS — Grief is a natural reaction to loss, but often the process of grieving is foreign to kids, which makes it especially hard for them to process.  

An author is on a mission to normalize grieving and has written a children's book to help.
