Want to explore the Science Museum of Minnesota after hours?

Proceeds from the May 2 event support the museum's mission of expanding access to STEM learning and experiences to more learners of all ages.

ST PAUL, Minn. — The Science Museum of Minnesota is holding a special event where you can explore the museum, with no kids, after hours and get a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibits.

Science Celebration is the museum's annual fundraising event.

Tickets are $150 for the 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. event on Thursday, May 2.

Proceeds from the event support the museum's mission of expanding access to STEM learning and experiences to more learners of all ages.

Biology lab technician Mari Leland and postdoctoral fellow Kui Hu, from the museum's St. Croix Watershed Research Station, joined KARE 11 Saturday to discuss Science Celebration.
