GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — A big basketball game is going down Friday night in Minnesota!

No, we're not talking about the Big Ten Women's Basketball tournament. It's the Rising Stars Wheelchair Basketball Showcase presented by Winning Pathways Foundation.

KARE 11's Jason Hackett and Ian Russell will be on the celebrity team taking on The Minnesota Jr. Rolling Timberwolves and Paralympians Sarah Binsfeld and Ian Lynch.

The event will take place March 8 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Wayzata Central Middle School. Tickets are $5 for students and $15 for general admission. Proceeds will go to improving access to adaptive, competitive sports.
