LA CROSSE, Wis. — Jonah Larson already had plenty of fans, but his reach is about to get bigger.
The 11-year-old crocheting prodigy from La Crosse, Wisconsin, has scored his first book deal.
KWiL Publishing, an independent small press, is publishing a photo autobiography of Jonah. In addition to telling his story of being adopted from Ethiopia, it will feature an introduction to crocheting and some of "Jonah's Favorites."
Jonah started crocheting at the age of 5, and from there he was hooked. At age 11, he has more than 123,000 Instagram followers. Now in the sixth grade, Jonah crochets about five hours a day.
Boyd Huppert profiled Jonah on Land of 10,000 Stories in January. You can still watch that story here.
"Hello, Crochet Friends! Making Art, Being Mindful, and Giving Back: Do What Makes You Happy" is slated to be out in the fall.
