SHAKOPEE, Minn. — An eviction summons has been sent to MyPillow after the company allegedly failed to pay rent for the past two months on a Shakopee property.
MyPillow operates a warehouse and outlet store on 4th Avenue East in the city. The landlord alleges MyPillow didn't pay rent on the building this June or July.
A complaint for eviction filed in Scott County states MyPillow is supposed to pay $272,505.94 per month. When this was not paid in June, a notice was given to them. Now that MyPillow has allegedly not paid rent for July, the landlord is seeking to evict.
In March, a judge ordered MyPillow to leave a warehouse on Valley Industrial Boulevard South in Shakopee, claiming it hadn't received rent from MyPillow for February or March.
A hearing on the latest eviction summons is scheduled for July 23.
MyPillow is owned by Mike Lindell, a prominent promoter of false claims that voting machines were manipulated to steal the 2020 presidential election from President Donald Trump.
