That's So Minnesota: Get married this summer at one of three county fairs

Put your wallet away and call off the caterers because the Minnesota Judicial Branch wants to marry you for free at one of three county fairs this summer.

ST PAUL, Minn. — Planning to get hitched this year? Put your wallet away and call off the caterers because the Minnesota Judicial Branch invites you tie the knot at one of three county fairs this summer.

A statement from the branch said judges will be available to join your hands in marriage for free at the Dakota, Goodhue and McCleod County Fairs in August. You do not need to live in one of those counties to participate.

To trade "I Dos" with your sweet slice of cherry pie among friends and funnel cakes, contact the respective county's court to register.
