MINNEAPOLIS — A man died at the hospital four days after being shot last week in north Minneapolis.
At around 11:30 p.m. on July 8, officers with the Minneapolis Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the 2000 block of Emerson Avenue North. When police arrived, they found a 29-year-old man who had been shot. The man was transported to North Memorial Hospital, where he died on July 12.
Police say they believe the man was standing in an alley when shots were fired. Officials are still investigating what led up to the shooting.
