GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - One person is dead after a rollover crash on Highway 61 near Hastings, Minn.
According to the State Patrol, a 42-year-old man, of New Brighton, was traveling south on Highway 61 when he crossed into the northbound lane near 190th Street, entered the ditch, hit a road sign and rolled several times.
Authorities say the man was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Police say he was ejected from the vehicle and came to rest in a nearby cornfield.
The State Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
