MINNEAPOLIS - A 45-year-old man was sentenced Tuesday to nine years in prison, after nearly 400 pounds of marijuana was found in his home.

Scott Bradley Cunningham, formerly of Inver Grove Heights, was charged, along with three other people, for possession of the drugs with the intent to distribute.

In November of 2011, Dakota County Drug Task Force agents seized the several pounds of marijuana from Cunningham's home. The total street value of the marijuana seized is estimated to be more than $1 million.

Seven guns were also seized.

According to the criminal complaint, a majority of the marijuana seized was found inside a secret room, hidden by a fake wall at the home.

Fifty-nine-year-old Brian Lee Speldrick was sentenced to two years of probation and the charges against Holly Joann Swenson, 32, and Jerilyn Reis, 44, were dismissed.

Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom praised the work of those who prosecuted the case saying, "This case involved one of the largest marijuana seizures in our county's history."
