Man killed after collision between truck and semi

The crash happened on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Minn. — One man was killed and another was sent to the hospital after a Tuesday crash in Stoneham Township. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2022 Ford F350 driven by a 32-year-old man from Brooklyn, New York was headed north on County Road 4 when he collided with a 2007 Freightliner Semi driven by 59-year-old Timmy James Tarnowski from Pelican Rapids. 

Officials said the man driving the truck was taken to Willmar Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Alcohol is not thought to be a contributing factor in this crash.
