Officers with the Meeker County Sheriff's office have arrested Anthony Kalland at the home where his original standoff happened. He was arrested Dec. 30 around 8 p.m. three days after he escaped.

Authorities continue to investigate who helped Kalland during his escape. Anyone with information on where he was over the past several days is asked to call the Meeker County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's officials were called to a home in Harvey Township about noon Thursday Dec. 27 on reports that a man armed with a revolver remained in the residence. Tactical officers were called to the scene after Kalland refused to respond to deputies. Authorities say the standoff continued into the evening when he fled under the cover of darkness.

Sheriff's deputies say a stolen vehicle, ammunition and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the home. The 38-year-old Brainerd man was wanted for domestic assault, possessing a stolen vehicle and possessing a firearm as a felon.

Authorities say he also has three outstanding felony warrants from Crow Wing, Sherburne and Renville counties.
